Who hasn't dreamed of being a "Tony and Stephanie" from Saturday Night Fever on the dancefloor? So grab your white suite and polyester pant suit, haha, and learn to move to this fast-paced nostalgic vibe!

According to Wikipedia, the very first Hustle was created in late 1972 and wasn't even called "Hustle" and was a 5 step count dance with no turns!

Most people believe the Hustle originated in the South Bronx among Puerto Ricans and was danced at house parties, hooky gigs and basements club dances.

By 1974 it became known as the "Spanish Hustle" and in 1975 the Fatback Band made a song with that name. It was also known at that time as the "Latin Hustle" and both dances used 6 step counts to the beats of the music.

In about 1976 it became known as the "New York Hustle" and later just the "Hustle". This was what it was called when it became commercialized after the release of Saturday Night Fever in 1977.

Join us for this romantic and fun dance and "Do the Hustle"!
