Rodolfo Guzman grew up in Mexico City during the Golden Era of Mambo and has been a dance and fitness instructor in San Francisco for over twenty years now. He was a co-founder of Symbolic Dance & Fitness in the Mission District as well as co-director with Ava Apple of The Latin Symbolics, one of the longest running dance teams in the Bay Area.. For the past two decades now he has been teaching Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Cumbia, New York Latin Hustle, Cabaret, Cumbia and Merengue to San Franciscans and was also one of the first instructors to introduce our city to the rhythms of Bachata.
